Hey there, I’m Lara!
I’m a Chicago native who 6 years ago packed her bags in search of adventure on the West Coast. The original adventure focused on a life in film (still a passion!)- but a seed was undoubtedly planted for a different type of adventure once we made the road-trip out West.
It was on this trip that my now husband showed me the ropes to camping and hiking for the first time, and I found myself completely and hopelessly enamored.
Since then, I have continued growing my love for camping and hiking, before finally deciding I wanted to share these passions I was reverently learning with the world. Acknowledging my additional interests, Lives of Lara was born. On this journey to build upon my own creative ambitions I hope it too can inspire yours!
